event Events

Browse, register for, and pay for association events.

Browsing Events

The Events page shows all upcoming and past events. Each event card displays the title, date, location, and pricing.

  • filter_listUpcoming / Past — Main tabs to switch between future and completed events.
  • credit_card_offNot Paid tab — Shows only upcoming events you haven't paid for yet, with a red badge count. Use this to clear your outstanding dues quickly.
  • check_circlePaid tab — Shows events you've already paid for.
  • priority_highAdministrative events first — Events marked as Required always appear at the top of the Upcoming list.
  • notifications_activeDeadline alerts — When a payment deadline is 5 days or fewer away, the event card pulses with a red border and a blinking countdown badge (e.g. "3d left" or "OVERDUE!").

Paying for an Event

There are two ways to pay — Mobile Money or Wallet:

smartphone Mobile Money

  1. 1 Click "Pay" on the event card
  2. 2 Select Mobile Money tab and choose currency (UGX / KES)
  3. 3 Enter your phone number (07XXXXXXXX) and click Pay
  4. 4 Approve the prompt on your phone — your ticket is auto-generated

account_balance_wallet Wallet (Instant)

  1. 1 Click "Pay" on the event card
  2. 2 Switch to the Wallet tab — your UGX and KES balances are shown live
  3. 3 Click "Pay from Wallet" — payment is instant, no phone needed

Note: Wallet payments are for your own registration only.

Free Events

For free events, simply click the "RSVP" button. Your ticket will be issued immediately — no payment needed.

Deadline Reminders

The system automatically sends you reminders if you haven't paid before a deadline:

7 days — Early notice email + in-app
3 days — Upcoming deadline reminder
1 day — Final / urgent notice
Overdue — Overdue alert with Pay Now link

You also see a scrolling red Deadline Alert ticker on your dashboard listing all events with deadlines within 7 days.

Important: Always check your phone for the mobile money payment prompt. The payment must be confirmed on your phone within 60 seconds or it will expire.
